Old Games Find a New Home

I’m working on a deal with another game store in which GameMasters.com will be donating a fair amount of games.

Why?  Well, for one, they are old out of print games (some even made by companies that no longer exist), for two GameMasters.com is a major supporter of the smaller local game shops.  I don’t buy my D&D books or Magic the Gathering cards at these larger retail outlets, I support my smaller gaming stores.

Why do you go out of your way to support the smaller gaming stores?  The answer is quite simple.

Remember the old TV show Cheers?  Yeah, you wanna go where everybody knows your name.  You want to hang out and associate with people who are similar to you.  I’m a gamer.  I love to play games.  From Poker to Pokemon.  Yes, you heard me, Pokemon.  I even have some of the Japanese cards in which the game is called Pocket Monster.  I even have an  unopened PokeDex from 1998 !

Okay, so I’m blathering a bit.  My point is, you can’t go into a Barnes and Noble, or Ace Bookstore, or Wal-Mart, sit down with a pizza and start playing a massive game of Warhammer 40K.  But you step into your local gaming shop and it’s a whole different story.  We’re talkin good company, good games, terrain, never a dull moment!

So, yeah, I want to promote those local shops so I’ll always have a place to Game On!

Keep your eyes here to find out some more details about the lucky shop that’s going to get a nice donation from GameMasters.com!
