Patch 7.2.5 PTR: Auction House Dance Party Decorations

The long-waited Dance Studio is making its way to Azeroth in Patch 7.2.5! For one day, the Stormwind and Orgrimmar Auction Houses will be turned into a massive dance party!

While this was included in Blizzard’s 7.2.5 PTR Patch Notes, it almost sounded too good to be true. So we’ve pieced together all of the dance studio decorations included in the PTR data to give you a taste of what is to come. (Click on the images to enlarge them.

Hunter Pet Hidden Tame Updates – Fenryr, Gon, Lost Spectral Gryphon

With the Riddler’s Mind-Worm Mount solved, the community has turned their attention to hidden hunter pet tames! Lost Spectral Gryphon and Gon were solved today, and Fenryr was tamed a few days ago – but was recently hotfixed to provide more of a challenge.

Patch 7.2 Hotfixes for April 12th – 30 Dungeons for Hidden Appearance Tint

Patch 7.2 Hotfixes for April 12th include a reduction for the dungeon requirements for the Hidden Artifact Appearance tint; it now requires 30 down from 100.

The Kirin Tor Emissary quest is up today, as well as the last quest for the Wyrmtongue Treasure quest line! The Kirin Tor quest will now help you with Armies of Legionfall reputation, and the Wyrmtongue treasure quest line opens up a fun vendor at the Broken Shore.

7.2.5 PTR Development Notes for Build 23910

Development Notes – Build 23910

The first Patch 7.2.5 PTR build will be going live soon! Blizzard has posted an overview of what’s coming in this. It’s intended to be a smaller patch, but includes a new Questline, Black Temple Timewalking and events such as a transmog competition and dance party. This patch will also focus on class design to a number of specs.

Some of the developers have been active on the class feedback forums regarding 7.2.5 changes.

Riddler's Mind-Worm Mount Discovered by Secret Finding Discord

The Secret Finding Discord Community has worked very hard through Patch 7.2 to discover how to obtain Riddler’s Mind-Worm! Please check out Nightswifty’s comment, which compiles all of the community’s research, as to how this can be solved, as well as their imgur guide. This required hundreds of hours of work and coordination as players scoured the continent for clues related to each zone.

Command Center Building Now Active on NA and EU Realms

The Command Center Building is now active on NA and EU realms for the next three days! These buffs do not appear as strong as those provided by the Nether Disruptor, which is also active.

Two hotfixes have gone out: the mission now rewards several million AP and the Cathedral World Quests now award Armies of Legionfall reputation.

Chris Avellone started his career at Interplay’s Black Isle Studios division and worked on Planescape: Torment, Fallout 2, the Icewind Dale series, Dark Alliance, Knights of the Old Republic II, Neverwinter Nights 2, Mask of the Betrayer, Alpha Protocol, Fallout: New Vegas, FNV DLC: Dead Money, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, and South Park. His more recent work includes Wasteland 2, FTL: Advanced Edition, Pillars of Eternity, Torment: Tides of Numenera, and Prey. He is currently working on Divinity: Original Sin II by Larian Studios, Into the Breach with Subset Games (the makers of FTL), and was part of the successful Kickstarter reboot of System Shock with Night Dive Studios and lead designer on Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition with Beamdog.

Phil Daigle is a game designer for Beamdog in Edmonton, Canada. He started his career even further afield, at a company called Hermitworks Entertainment in the great white wastelands of northern Alberta. Some notable early smash hits include Space Trader: Merchant Marine, Saturday Night Fever: Dance!, and he was once hired to produce a game for the current President of the United States.  At Beamdog, Phil has worked as a producer and designer on great games like MDK2 HD, Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition, Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition, and Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition. He was also the lead designer and project director on Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear.
